School children and the youth
The Ogrodzieniec Castle is not only ruins and a huge tourist attraction. It is not only picturesque landscapes and breathtaking views.
It is, above all, a valuable lesson about the past. The educational aspect of the offers for the youngest is very important to us. We would like children and young people to get to know our heritage and show that history does not have to be related only to boring dates!
We offer to share a place where a history lesson becomes fun and entertainment served within the magnificent walls of the medieval castle. We will take you on a trip from the Neolithic times to the present day. It will be an extraordinary tour along the trail of the Ogrodzieniec fortress. Thanks to it, you will go back into the past and learn about the life in a Gothic-Renaissance castle.
The youngest tourists can improve their manual skills taking part in ceramic workshops. Under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor, they will create a mug themselves, in which they will later drink some tea.
Our rich offer will help the school children to develop all kinds of skills and individual predispositions. We would like you to participate in many workshops, including calligraphy, during which the participants will be able to learn the history of a manuscript and collagraphy. The youngest will create their own graphic matrix, as well as make some prints on the paper.
We do not forget about slightly older youth, who are not afraid of ghosts. We would like you to search some castle nooks and crannies in the evening. Do not be afraid! Our torches will light your way.
