A winter weekend? Only in the Upland! Far away from the crowds in the scenery of the castle and the smell of the Upland forest. Come to the intimate Castle Guesthouse at the foot of the Ogrodzieniec Castle . You will experience a medieval adventure, visit the castle with torches after dark and listen to the stories and legends of the old castle told by our custodian during a real sleigh ride. Let’s explore the surrounding forests together. The castle herbalist will tell you the secrets of how to prepare a herb-scented bath at home.
Our offer includes:
Two nights in double, triple or quadruple rooms with breakfast, including the following program:
Friday
Welcome dinner by a bonfire with roasted sausages, a slice of country bread, homemade lard with apple, pickled cucumbers and mulled wine
Night tour of the castle with a guide and torches
Saturday
Breakfast
Workshops with a castle herbalist / preparation of a bath ball or bath salt/
Buffet with rich soups with bread, coffee and tea
A sleigh ride with a fire and sausage roasting / in case there is no snow, we will go by carts/
Dinner with a knight's feast at the Castle Tavern / the old castle stories and legends will be told during the dinner/
During the dinner you will take part in the workshops on how to make some of the Upland roasts in a cast- iron pot.
